Tonight youngest daughter appeared in a school talent contest singing Avril Lavigne's "The Best Damn Thing". Had a lump in throat with all the cheering she received at the end of her performance.
Times like these it's great being a dad....

Its the best bit, my proud parent moments include son's recording of wonderwall, his appearance as a shepherd in the nativity, and how pleased he was the first time he bought and cooked dinner for us all. Less proud now of the regression to 'theres nothing to eat mum' (translates as 'theres nothing to eat that takes 5 seconds or less to prepare') and the incredible mess he makes getting anything to eat.
Now got it all to enjoy again with very cute offspring number 2.
